Christian Briffa is a Maltese architect with close to a decade of professional experience, offering a thoughtful and context-driven approach to architecture. Born and raised in Malta and currently residing in Tarxien, his work is strongly influenced by the island’s rich architectural heritage, dense urban fabric, and the evolving relationship between historic environments and contemporary living.

He graduated from the University of Malta and holds a Master’s degree in Conservation Studies, equipping him with a strong understanding of heritage buildings, adaptive reuse, and the sensitive transformation of existing structures.

His work places particular emphasis on human experience and sustainability, delivering architecture that is environmentally responsible, culturally grounded, and carefully tailored to its context—especially within renovation and small-scale projects where attention to detail is paramount.

Christian’s creative thinking is shaped by a lifelong engagement with music, fostering a design approach that bridges architecture and creative insight.

Alongside professional practice, he has led workshops for young architects in Malta focused on integrating greenery and sustainable solutions within compact living spaces. His work is guided by a commitment to creating architecture that is practical, enduring, and responsive to both people and place.
